In India users has started getting Android L 5.1 soak test invitation, hence it is clear that within 3 - 4 days soak test testers will be getting the Android 5.1 OTA, and if all goes well the users will get the Android 5.1 update in India. as said by David earlier the day, the soak test has started hence, the full deployment is near only.
Moto X users must be ready to get the Android 5.1 update, i.e keep their devices formatted and all their valuables stored somewhere so that you will be getting the update and then straight-away getting the device formatted.
