LG will be rolling out the Lollipop taste to the midrange tablets that they launched last year. The device that will start receiving the update from this Sunday(12th April) are as follow:
- LG G Pad 7.0
- G Pad 8.0
- G Pad 10.1
As in all the update roll out does, all the end users of the devices will not be getting the update, it will take a week or two time for the update to be circulated to all the users having the device. Nor all the regions will be given the update at the same time, for all the regions to get update it will take about a month or two time.
On the other hand, LG says the updates will be available to download on its website as well, so perhaps you'll be able to grab the necessary files and install them through your computer if you don't like waiting. At this point it's unclear if LG has included any additional new stuff in these updates, aside from what Lollipop brings with it from Google's HQ.
