Friends at current point their are not much phones in the 5,000 INR to 10,000 INR price point, making that price point really choosy for the persons who likes Tire-1 brands like Samsung, Sony, HTC, etc. But from these brands their are not much phones which can actully full fill your needs as these phones are low at specs while phone from Lenovo, Xiaomi, and other brands which are new in India, makes a great piece for the price. So today we brings you a Buying guide for the same.

The Price point of 5,000 INR to 10,000 INR is a tough competition, so first let me list the phones which falls in this price range:

Canvas Spark is offered for 4,999 INR which is a really great specs for a phone with 1.3 Ghz of quad core processor and 1 Gig of RAM, the phone performs really well for the price it is offered so if you are at a really tight budget, then you can go for the Canvas Spark, and it will suffice your need, not gaming, but yes will help you with Social Networking and day to day ussage.

CoolPad Dazen 1 offered for 6,000 INR after a price cut, and offers 2 GB RAM, 1.2 Ghz of Snapdragon 410 hence falls in line with Lenovo A6000+ & Redmi 2, also the Yuphoria but the camera of the phone is not great, but if you are on a tight budget, and still demands a better phone, then you can opt for CoolPad Dazen 1.

Lenovo A6000+ is offered for 7,499 INR but recently it got a price cut and now is offered for 6,999 INR*** and hence will give a nice competition to Redmi 2, the A6000+ has 2 GB of RAM and 1.2 Ghz of Quad Core from Qualcomm, which is a 64-bit processor, hence for gaming as well for social networking, and other usages it will work well, the Camera is even great hence if you invest 7000 INR of your's in the A6000+ then it will really be of total use. 

Redmi 2 has the same specs to A6000+ but the internal storage and RAM is low in the Redmi 2 with almost half the A6000+ and the A6000+ is sold for the same price the Redmi 2, hence we will be suggesting you to go with the A6000+  and it will be a nice deal for you, hence the Redmi 2 is bit out dated, hence would suggest to not to go for Redmi 2.

Moto E 2nd Gen is priced at 7000 INR and for that price the phone is a good deal if you are a Brand lover, like you want a phone from Tire-1 Brand then Moto E 2nd Gen will suffice your needs, as it is the best phone from Tire-1 brands in this price point, but if you still want a better deal, then you can opt for Lenovo A6000+ which is a much better smartphone for the same price.

Moto E 2nd Gen 4G being priced at INR 7,999 is a overall great phone for the price, and will suffice your need of first 4G smartphone, but the specs of the phone go in line with A6000+ and even the camera of A6000+ is better then Moto E 2nd Gen 4G.

Yuphoria is offered for the same 7,000 INR price, and is a great customizable phone for that price, the phone does a perfectly fine with the Cyanogen Mod, and is offered with the same specs as the Lenovo A6000+, now you have to decide with the Cyanogen Mod and the Lenovo custom UI which you can work with as better, the service of Yu is better hence the service and the Custom ROM will be the deciding factor here.

So overall in the 7,000 to 8,000 price range the Lenovo A6000+ & Yuphoria gets a tie, and the deciding factors are Custom ROM & Service so you decide which is a better deal and you must go for it if deciding a phone in the same price range.

Lenovo A7000 is offered for INR 8,999 which is a price point where only one phone resides if we are looking at a smartphone with good specs, hence Galaxy Core Prime, Grand Prime, are phones with a higher price and low specs which resides at this price, so for the Price A7000 is really great, and if you are selfie lover, likes to take photoes, and yes Music lover then go with the A7000 as it is having Dolby Atmos which will enhance your sound.

Redmi Note 4G for this now Xiaomi needs a replacement the phone being set at INR9,999 and having Snapdragon 400 is of no competition hence we would suggest to wait for other phones to fall in this price range. 

Yureka is a great phone with Snapdragon 615 inside, for INR 8,999 and offers real value for money. but if you are a gamer this phone is not for you, as the phone heats a lot and if you go with it be aware of the heating issues, the phone excels the Redmi Note 4G in terms of specs and pricing, so for the price the phone does really great, and is a better choice then the A7000.

In the price range of 8001 to 10,000 currently Yureka is great, for the specs and price it offers, its just the heating issues of the phone which makes it behind but in the price range of 8001 to 10,000 it is the best being offered.

MidRangers from YU compared: Yuphoria vs Yureka

Micromax has launched the 2nd device under their sub brand YU televentures, the crowd named phone YUPHORIA. This will be the phone that will be made in India, Micromax has been rebranding Chinese and other brand phones for now but the Yu brand will be fully manufactured in India and designed by Yu along with the fans. Today we compare the first two devices from this made in India brand.

Build and design

Micromax founder Rahul Sharma said while launch of the Yuphoria, that the design was crowd sourced from the company designer win Bangalore and Beijing. The design has been given a major uplifting with new design features. The device has a metal and a soft touch plastic plastic that makes the phone very premium. The metal runs around the rim of the device and have introduced a centre-aligned theme, with the audio jack, camera and USB port all situated in the centre. The volume and power button are together with a 3-key element.

Yuphoria has a rubberized back with a plastic finish. The phone doesn't look premium but in hand it is very easy to hold on. The phone is well built though the built isn't that great as compared to yuphoria.

Display

Yuphoria has a 5" 720p screen with ppi of 294. The screen is protected by gorilla glass 3. The screen is sharp and brighter then the one found with Yureka, and is good for a mid Ranger. Yureka has 720p screen but with larger 5.5 inch size, but its bit dull with respect to Yuphoria.

Processor and RAM

Yuphoria is powered by snapdragon 4 10 which is a 64-bit processor with 4 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. It is accompanied by a generous 2 GB of RAM. The processor is a bit drawback from the Yureka. Yureka also features a superior snapdragon octa core 615 processor with same LPDDR3 RAM with 2GB capacity.

Camera and storage

Yuphoria has an decent 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and LED flash. It also features a ring style design called "Saturn rings" which will be carried to all future YU phones. The Yureka had a greater Sony 13mp sensor. Both phones has a 16GB of internal storage.

Software

Both Yureka and Yuphoria features the support of cyanogen.inc and will come with cyanogen OS. Both will be based on lollipop and will be given updates with improvement in performance and new features. Yuphoria will be the first phone to feature cyanogen os with Truecaller integration.

Battery and price

Yuphoria features a 2300maH battery with quick charge 1.0 support, while Yureka has a bigger 2500maH battery but doesn't feature the quick charge. On pricing YU have aggressively proceed the Yuphoria at a very low 6999 INR and Yureka is priced @ INR 8999. Yuphoria seems a better phone but we need to wait and see how it performs in real usage.

YU Televentures launched the all new YUPHORIA priced at INR 6,999

YU Televentures launched the all new YUPHORIA in India at an event today held in Gurgaon. YUPHORIA is the next phone from YU Televentures which usually sells all its devices online only. The phone is launched for INR 6,999 and will be avilable from 28th May.

YUPHORIA comes pre - installed with Cyanogen 12S which is a customization over the CyanogenMod 12. Cyanogen Mod itself is a customization over the Stock Android.

The phone is designed in India under the #YuMakeIt program, and the phone will even be manufactured and assembled in India. The first few batches will be imported while rest of them will be made / assembled in India.

The Yuphoria comes with the following set of specs

Yureka owners get ready for CyanogenMod 12S Update

Yu Yureka which was launched ealier this year, by Micromax the phone has some good specs and runs on Cyanogen Mod 11S which is a customized variant of Android, Cyanogen 11S is the same that comes with OnePlus One, which was introduced last year. According to reports, Micromax Yureka is receving an update from Cyanogen which will bump up its Android version to 5.0.2.

As you all know that many Yureka users have been waiting for the Lollipop update eagerly. Along with this update, Yureka users will also be getting the Box email application on their smartphones. According to Cyanogen, the update will roll out over a span of three days, as you all know the OTA update takes about 3-4 days for all the end users to get the Update.
