Sony Xperia Z3+ launched in India for 55,990

As expected Sony launched the Xperia Z3+ today in India, the phone is priced at 55,990 INR in India, and will be available from today onwards, the phone will also be bundled with a Quick Charger worth INR 3,490. and Sony says the phone also has a in-built screen protector.

This is the first phone from sony which is Water proof also and having no covering for the USB port, the phone also have some new and great capabilities for music, and hence music freaks will be loving the handset.

The specification of the phone are as follow:

• 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display 
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 
• Adreno 430 GPU
• 3GB RAM
• 32GB internal memory
• Exmos RS sensor

The Sony Xperia Z3+ comes in White, Black, Copper and Aqua Green colors, the phone will be available in various stores from today itself.

Sony Imports a couple of Prototypes in India, possibly flagship Z3+

Sony a couple of days ago imported some prototype devices into Bangalore, India, straight from China. The different device variants cost the same that is 39,329 INR which translates to roughly $620 in US. All the phones are said to be for Testing and Debugging purposes.

The import list includes single units of the 4 prototypes which are as follows:

• SEAHAWK REX PQ
• EAGLE REX AP 
• SEAHAWK GINA AP
• EAGLE RILADS AP

Both these devices, SEAHAWK and EAGLE are priced equivalent which is INR 39,329 so these devices are likely to be flagship devices. Currently the Xperia Z3+ launch is pending in India for Sony, and there is no clue for any other handset so it will be interesting to see if any more info be there for the devices anywhere soon.

Sony Xperia Z3+ to be launched on 26th June in India

Last month Xperia M4 Aqua Dual & C4 Dual in India, now their is another event which is scheduled for 26th June, it looks like the Xperia Z4 or maybe the Z3+ is to be unveiled at the event. Sony is ready for the launch of Xperia Z3+ and it looks like in India the phone will be said as Z3+ not the Z4 as in Japan, as recently dummy phones for Store shelf are imported by the name of Z3+

Sony Xperia Z4v coming to US via Verizon

Sony today launched the Z4c in US exclusively via Verizon wireless. As Sony names their Xperia's the Verizon handsets will be known as Xperia Z4v and the new phone comes with changes in the original Xperia Z4 or Xperia Z3+ their are even some minor cosmetic changes to the handheld.

The Z4v will ship with the same

• 3GB RAM
• 20.7 MP rear camera
• 5 MP front camera
• IP65 || IP68 ratings 
• 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440) pixel display,
• 3,000mAh 

The all new Z4v from Xperia comes with a better display and a bigger battery then the one present in the original Z4. The Z4v also has in built Qi & PMA wireless charging, hence adding 1.7mm thickness 18g weight to the regular Z4.

Sony announced the Xperia C4 Dual, which is the dual sim model of the Xperia C4 which is the selfie focused handset, the phone is launched along with M4 Aqua. Today company launched the Xperia C4 smartphone in India.

Sony updates the old Xperia Z series Devices to Android L

Sony has started rolling out Android Lollipop 5.0.2 for the very first devices in the Xperia Z series, the update has confirmed for Xperia Z & ZR, as of now for Xperia ZL & Tab Z are not confirmed for the update but it looks like they will also be getting the update in a day or two. The update will be available via OTA and hence you will be notified on the phone and will have to use Sony PC companion for the update procedure, the phone will be updated to buil number 10.6.A.0.454.

The update for the XPERIA Z is 694.8 MB in size as above screenshot shows. The new update should bring quite a lot of changes and improvements including 

• Material Design UI
• updated lockscreen
• ability to transfer apps to SD card
• support for multi-users
• guest mode 
• ... much more.

The update will take time for each device to get as they are distributed sequentialy to a groups of people hence it may take a couple of days in getting the update on your device, it also depend on the region and the carrier branding of the phone if any.

Xperia A4 Launched for NTT Docomo

Sony announced a new device the Xperia A4 which is given the model number SO-04G for NTT Docomo. If we recall the history the Xperia Z1f which was model numbered SO-02F was later released as Z1 compact while the Xperia A2 model numbered SO-04F was released as Xperia Z3 Compact last year, so the Xperia A4 might launch as the Xperia Z4 Compact in future.

Sony launched another instalment of their Selfie budget smartphone in the C series. The Xperia C4 & C4 Dual are the successor to the C3 & C3 Dual along with a big front camera, which has a 5 MP sensor also come with a front LED to enhance selfies in night.

Xperia Z Users will get Lollipop taste starting next week

Sony promised to deliver the Lollipop taste to all the Xperia Z series users, which is indeed a premium series by Sony. All the Xperia users have been getting the Lollipop taste on their phones, but still the originator of the series the original "Xperia Z" still lacked the Lollipop update, which was making their users worry.

A recent tweet by Sony's official account for Philippines mentioned that the Lollipop 5.0 Update for Xperia Z is on the way and will probably be seeded to users starting next week.

Xperia P2 to debut soon as the new Sony flagship

 Sony Xperia P series ended a few years ago and had just one device, the Xperia P. But now it looks like Sony is having some plans to launch a new phone in the series which may have the name Xperia P2. There were some images which posted on a Chinese website which show the complete specs and dimensions of the phone.

From the specs, it looks like that the phone is a high end phone and will be competing with the Xperia Z4 which is the current flagship. It may be that the Xperia P2 will be a flagship from Sony for the world, while the Z4 being only for Japan. Sony has earlier used the transparent band in Xperia P three years ago, and now they might be using it again.

The Specs of the Xperia P2 are as follows:

Xperia Z4 & LG G4 runs through GPU Benchmarking reveals the SoC used

Their are two up coming handsets that we have been waiting for a long time to get unveiled, LG G4 to be launched 28rd April, while Sony has till now not given any idea about the Xperia Z4 launch that is also soon expected to launch, both the upcoming handsets just went through GFXBench Manhattan 3.1 Benchmark tests which is for the GPU clock speed test of the phone, the list shows top 20 handsets with the best GPU.

This test is designed to measure how many frames are processed by the GPU in a set period of time allowing GFXBench to reveal the fps frame rate for the unit being tested. As said by GFXBench both the handsets have the following GPU:

• Sony Xperia Z4 (E6553) :: Adreno 430 GPU 
• LG G4 (F500x, H815) :: Adreno 418 GPU

The test have confirmed that the Xperia Z4 will have Snapdragon 810 SoC inside, while the LG G4 will be driven by the Snapdragon 808.

Sony Xperia Z4 Real Life Images takes round again

Sony Xperia Z4 is moving forward day by day towards the launch of the device, and now their are quite a few sets of live images of the handsets leaked by No Where Else. The images conform the placement of all the ports with the front camera and LED placement on the new upcoming device.  The press renders that made the rounds before, have taken up live form. The speakers of the phone has moved to a new place, rest are the same as was expected.

The back is the same with the glass back and the same camera position and the LED too at the same expected place, the phone will be pleasing the public with its 20.7 MP rear camera, the front camera will be a 5 MP unit, and Snapdragon 810  to be powering the device. As expected the Z4 may come in two variants one will be QHD and another will be FHD. So lets wait for the device to be unveiled to have a look at both the two. The Xperia Z4 will boot Android Lollipop out of the box, as if you could have expected anything else from a major launch in 2015. When that launch will take place however, remains a mystery for now.

Xperia Z4 real life images leaked

Sony is still to announce the Xperia Z4 and now the same made rounds over the net. Xperia Z4 is the upcoming successor of the popular Sony Xperia Z3, the phone is expected to launch somewhere at the end of April, or maybe start of May. The images leaked now are same as the press renders that were leaked a couple of weeks ago. From the images and even the press renders it is clear that the Sony Xperia Z4 will continue the same OmniBalance design language which was introduced with the Xperia Z back in 2013.

Sony Xperia Z4 Specs Revealed in GFXBench

Recently the Xperia Z4 which will be the upcoming flagship device from Sony appeared on GFXBenchmarks and the benchmarks revealed the specifications inside the phone. As the device is spotted in the benchmark's database, it is clearly a sign that someone at Sony is already busy testing it. So the phone looks like to be a promising phone with Full HD Screen and a Snapdragon 810 but using the chipset which is already in talks due to its Overheating, is a bit bad choice by Sony.

The specs which is powering the phone are as follow

The model number which the Xperia Z4 is being listed is E6553, as looking over the naming scheme of Sony we can see that Letter changes each year, and for the first device in the year the number starts with 65 and for the second device it starts with 66 as for 2014 it was D, and Sony's first flagship of 2014 the Z2 had the model number D65xx, while the Z3 was D66xx. Hence it looks like that E6553 will be the Model Number for Xperia Z4.

Sony Introduced the Xperia E4 & E4 Dual in the Indian Market

Yesterday, Sony announced the Xperia E4 & E4 Dual for the Indian market the phone was earlier announced globally in February, the model introduced is the 3G varient of the phone not the 4G one which is the Xperia E4g. We hope sony to soon announce the 4G LTE Variant in the indian market too, Sony may have kept the 4G one for the Moto E 2nd Gen 4G. Hence we may see the Xperia E4g in May.
As Sony always looks for a dual sim model as well as a single sim, this time too its the same and has priced the handset as it does, with the Single sim i.e. Xperia E4 as 11,490INR while the E4 Dual as 12,490INR.

Xperia Z4 Picture Leaked

At MWC we were not able to see the Xperia Z4 and yes Sony didn't launched any other flagship saving the beast for a future show. Sony did said that they are not moving for a one year cycle hence the Z4 will be launched somewhere in April or May, with rumors pointing the Xperia Z4 to be launching really soon. We have got a real life picture of the Xperia Z4 from the Leakster @OnLeaks.

We don't know much about the upcoming phone but the rumors point towards a 5.2" QHD Display, and a FHD variant of the phone may follow up, with top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Chipset powering the device with 4 GB of RAM. On the Camera side, the phone may feature a 20 MP rear camera. More about the Xperia Z4 needs to be confirmed and will be brought to you once we get to know about the same.

The phone will be missing a important slot which is the Memory Card Slot ... As we can see the sim card has been moved from Right to Left and no other slot on the phone is their, and hence the single slot is for Sim Card hence we may see that the stoarge in the phone is what we will be getting i.e. no expandability.
