1- Create a FlyME Account (they are created when u booting the device for the 1st time)
2- open Settings->Accounts->Add an Acoount
3- Sign up Using a user id and password
4- once logged in goto settings->Account and click on FlyMe Account
5- Click on Open System Privileges. You'll be warned but choose "Accept" and insert your password
6-  After the password has been entered your smartphone will reboot.

Meizu today launched the long awaited Mx5

Meizu today introduced the MX5 which is the new flagship after the MX4 & the MX 4 Pro that were priced mid-ranged while sporting flagship-worthy specs. This time Meizu used a full metal body and has the upgraded Helio X10 chipset. The phone is really slim at 7.6mm & weighs 149 grams.

The specs of the phone are as follows:

• 5.5" 1080p AMOLED display
• 3150 mAh battery
• 20 MP rear camera
• 5 MP front camera 
• Android 5.0 Lollipop

The basic 16 GB version will go for 1800 yuan (about $290), and 1999 yuan (about $322) will get you the 32 GB one. The high-hitting 64 GB model will be going for a $387 equivalent, which reaffirms Meizu as a value-for-money manufacturer.

Meizu M2 Rumored to launch by month End, Pictures leaks online

Meizu M1 is a great budget phone now also, but having a look at the specs it feels that the specs of the phone are tending to go old, and hence we need a successor to the same, and now here is the new Meizu M2 being rumored, and is said to be got around end of this month. Also the Chinese tech sites claim to getting the invitations for launch event.

Meizu launched the M2 Note in China

Meizu after teasing today's launch from quite a few days, today they launched the successor to the M1 Note which was launched a couple of days ago in India, the M2 Note was unveiled today, the M2 note is the latest mid ranger and was launched today at the event in Beijing.

The Chinese price of the16GB variant is at 799 Yuan which translates to INR 8,300 approx, while the 32GB model will set you back 999 Yuan which is about INR 10,300 as per Indian pricing scheme.

Meizu M2 Note specs Leaked via GFX Benchmark

Meizu M2 Note has been leaked quite a few times in the recent months, the phone may be known as M1 Note 2 or even only Note 2, their were quite a few leaks and today we got Meizu M2 Note spotted on GFX Benchmarking database, but after a couple of hours the page was down and was no longer available.
We managed to get the specs which were listed on GFX Benchmark and they are as follow:

• Mali-T 720 GPU

• 12MP rear camera 
• 4K video recording

Meizu m1 note Review

Meizu m1 note

 Meizu have been releasing premium looking phones at affordable prices and now they have entered the crowded smartphone market in India,with the launch of Meizu m1 note. The handset is priced at 11,999 INR which is a great deal for such a good handset.
Today we look at the m1 note and see what it has to offer for its price.

Build and Design

Meizu has been late to metal build and most of their flagships are still posing plastic builds with little metal. In M1 note also Meizu has taken to polycarbonate plastic. The phone has lightweight alloy chassis and a unibody plastic body.

It falls in love with the previous generation MX3. The plastic covers the whole phone and there's no visible metal found. Back is curved for better grip and phone feels smaller in hand. The plastic is glossy and looks slippery, but it isn't slippery as it looks and has good grip to hold on.

From the looks we can certainly say that there's a influence of Apple's iPhone here, but Meizu have added some of their unique flavor too. 

The bezels at the front are slim for 5.5" phone , and the halo home button looks similar too iPhone 5's home button but this one is a capacitive home button and has nice look to it with unique gesture controls of meizu's flyme os. Physical buttons located in the same positions for each phone. The power button is on the top right, headphone jack top left and volume controls on the left side. Back she'll isn't removable and single sim slot is provided at the side and there's support for sd card. 

The bottom has grilled speakers with micros USB port on the middle. The rear is similar to a plastic MX4 with wraparound design, camera and a dual tone dual LED flash with Meizu logo at the bottom. 

There's unique optional colors including yellow, pink, blue and green will eventually be made available.

Display

At the front sits a 5.5" 1920 x 1280 full HD IGZO display from Sharp. The display is sharp with 403 ppi and colors pop out brightly. On concern that we found was that at time the display feels warm and there's a slight yellowish tint to it. 

The touch response is fast and accurate. The viewing angles are great, with consistent picture at even extreme angles. 

The display is great and you should enjoy playing games or watching videos without any problems. Meizu has been using amazing displays in their phones and this one is among the top ones out there.

Hardware and performance

Inside M1 note houses a MediaTek MT6572 with 2 GB of RAM. The chipset MT6572 is a 64-bit chip with octa core (8) Cortex a-53 cluster clocked @ 1.7Ghz. Mediatek has been fast progressing in the 64-bit market and this processor is a high performer which can take on snapdragon phones and with more RAM. The performance is top notch with smooth handling and easy multi tasking. Apps open quickly and handles all heavy apps simultaneously with ease. 

In benchmarks the chop performed well with Antutu score of around 41000 and quadrant score of just under 15000. Even with the minor quirks and issues of Flyme os the phone is a very high performer. On gaming and graphic side it has a Mali T760 which can handle high games like asphalt and real racing easily. 

Overall the phones octa core chip and 2GB RAM makes fruitful combination to deliver a high performance device at this low budget price.

Camera

On the back Meizu have implemented a 13MP camera sensor from Samsung rather than market popular Sony. It has an aperture of f/2.2 which seems but small compared to flagship devices. There a dual tone dual LED flash which helps in low light. For selfie geeks there's a 5MP front facing unit also.

The camera on the back takes air good images in the broad day light with nice details. The camera performance decrease as light goes down and the flash should help in low light. The camera app is very impressive with manual and auto modes to take great pictures as let your liking. In auto mode the pictures come great at day light conditions. If you have a good knowledge of photography then manual mode give you great control of your pictures. There's also Panorama and HDR modes. Fur video shooting the quality was just god and not that great.

Software - Flyme OS

The whole hardware is run by Meizu's custom made android the Flyme OS which is a completely different looking and beautifully designed OS. The Flyme os on this phone as it's flagships MX4 is based on Kitkat 4.4 and a scheduled Lollipop coming soon. 

On thing to note here is that Meizu uses the same version of Flyme on all of it phones so you are getting all the features that are supported as on a flagship Meizu phone.

The Flyme OS features lot of gesture and features that makes the handling easy. The overall performance and experience is smooth and feature rich. There are some minor issues here and there which should be easily solved with updates.

Battery and storage

There's a large 3140 mAh battery powering the device. The battery was average and not that great as you expect from such large battery. It might be due to software optimizations and should improve with your usage and future updates. 

There's 16GB of internal storage from which 12GB is user available and no expansion possible as no sd card is supported.

Final Thoughts

The Meizu m1 note lives up to its expectations - good build quality, excellent display, great camera, good UI and performance. It seems like an iPhone rip-off but has its own sets of goodies to offer, and the overall package with its looks and performance is quite impressive, especially at the price point.

It is bound to sway some users away from Xiaomi and OnePlus devices. We will soon find out how the Indian market responds to this new Chinese entrant.

Meizu M1 Note launched in India, first sale on 20th May

Meizu today introduced the M1 Note in India, the surprising key here is that they will continue the normal open sale unlike Xiaomi's trade mark flash sale, but still if their are low number of handsets placed their might be chance that they would end up in a couple of seconds and hence it will be the same "First Come First Serve" basis.
In China the M1 note costs 999 Yuan, and hence a price equivalent to the same is expected which is 10,000 INR. 

The Meizu M1 Note consist of the following specs

• 64bit Mediatek MT6752
• LTE
• 3140 mAh
• 13 MP Rear Camera
• 5 MP front camera

This will be the first handset from Meizu which will be offering dual sim support and will be lacking an SD Card reader.

Meizu Mx4 Ubuntu Edition now Available

Meizu Mx4 was the top handset on the AnTuTu benchmarks, now their is a new version of the same flagship available which is the Ubuntu Touch OS. The Ubuntu OS is a gesture based OS, and works on following Gestures:

• Shades coming down from top to bottom show notifications and settings
• Bottom to Up shows the application menu
• Left to Right brings the list of apps
• Right to Left shows a list of open programs. 

The Ubuntu Edition of Meizu MX4 will allow you to install apps from the Ubuntu Store.

Meizu Turkey says the Mx4 Pro is discontinued

According to Meizu Turkey, Meizu has discontinued the Mx4 Pro which is featuring a Exynos Processor, and is not from Samsung, Mx4 Pro was released in December 2014 and in just 5 months of run the phone is discontinued is a surprise, as of now their are no words from China, in China the phone is being selling at a price which is equivalent to 322 $ which was launched back at a price tag of 402$.

After the announcement by Meizu Turkey of discontinuation of the Mx4 Pro by FaceBook Post, it was soon taken down, but we do retain a Screen shot of the same which is embedded in the post.

Meizu is going to launch a new device on 18th May in India

Meizu quite a wile ago started a new Twitter account that they named as "Meizu India" and even they got the same named account on FaceBook also, it basically denoted their desire to come in India, as many manufacturers say that India is a big market for them, and hence Meizu want to have their devices in India, earlier today their was a tweet from Meizu India's twitter account, that denotes that Meizu is going to launch their first device in India on 18th May.

It is going to be the M1 Note or any other device we are not clear on the same, but it looks to be the M1 Note because they were tweeting and posting the features of M1 note from quite a few while.

Meizu today Announced Mx4 Pro with Bundled Beyerdyanamic HeadPhones

Meizu today announced a new set of headphones which was made in partnership with German audio specialists Beyerdynamic. As we all know that the Meizu Mx4 has a separate processor for processing the Audio and even have HIFI audio output, hence the company needed a professional headset makers. Now these headphones could be grabbed by audiophiles who want each bit of sharpness in the audio output by their Meizu Mx4.

It was quite clear that the bundled earphones the Meizu EP21 are not able to give the performance that the phone was made in to give. Hence Meizu indeed partnered with German audio specialists Beyerdynamic to solve the issue.

Meizu will not only be selling the headphones as a separate accessory but will indeed pack it with the Meizu Mx4 Pro that will have a gold headphone within and will be sold for 3,699 Yuan in China. As of now their are no word on the headphones separate release at this time, but anyone in China can order the bundle right now through the Meizu store.

Meizu & AKG Team to launch limited edition headphones on 15th April

As you know Meizu is looking forward to join hands with headphone maker company AKG Acoustics. AKG Acoustics in english means Acoustics and Cinema equipments, they use to make microphone, headphones, and even wireless audio devices. Meizu's official weibo page is filled with teasers of the new upcoming headphones that they are going to launch on 15th of April.

The phone will exclusive be made with the Mx Series phones from Meizu and they will be packed inside the Mx series packaging that the users will get ahead. We will have to wait wait for April 15 to let Meizu announce if these limited edition headphones will be made available to other markets as well.

Meizu coming to India with its m1 note

2014 saw the rise of Chinese smartphone makers globally, and especially in India Xiaomi and OnePlus were able to make a mark of their own. Now another well-known Chinese brand is set to enter India in the form of Meizu.

Meizu is all set to launch its m1 note in India, and have started its marketing activities on Facebook through the Meizu India official page.These are preparations to launch its Flyme equipped smartphones in the fiercely competitive Indian market. As you well aware, Meizu isn’t the first Chinese phone maker to enter India, and will in fact follow Xiaomi, Gionee, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo to the market. The Meizu m1 note would be the first device to be launched in the country.

It has been a long time coming but Meizu looks to be finally making moves to officially enter the phone market in India. So far, little is know about Meizu’s plans in India, but what we can tell you is that they have launched an official Meizu India Facebook and will be holding a competition soon to help promote their entry in to the country.

Meizu to Partner with Nokia for a new Launch

In January their was a rumor that Meizu and Nokia would be producing a new handset that may be called as the Meizu MX4 Supreme. While the phone was said to include some of the trademark looks associated with Meizu, Meizu is an upcoming brand from china while Nokia we know from years, due to a deal with Microsoft, Nokia cannot manufacture a phone till Q4 2016, hence it maybe clear to manufacture a phone, they will partner with Meizu. But some days after the rumor, Meizu's Vice President of Science and Technology, Li Nan, denied that it was working with Nokia on a new handset. But yesterday a new rumor came out of China, via the Weibo account.

We're not sure what it all means, especially the mention of the rumored

Meizu M1 Note soon to be available Internationally

Last year Meizu launched the Mi Note as a competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note, which is a affordable Phablet and is reciving a good amount of liking. Their are two version of the phone available,one comes with Mediatek Chipset while the other with a Snapdragon SoC. Meizu's official online store for international markets now has the banner image of the Mi Note stated as coming soon.

The question is which model will be sold, the Mediatek one or the Snapdragon one, looking at both the Chipset, we can see that Mediatek one is more powerful with Eight Cortex-A53 being clocked at 1.7 Ghz, while in the Snapdragon Soc four Cortex A53 being clocked at 1.5 Ghz while the other four at 1 Ghz.
