Vodafone announces exclusive partnership with Black from Xolo

Vodafone India announced an exclusive partnership with Black which is a sub brand from Xolo and will be promoting their first device which is scheduled for launch on Friday - July 10, Vodafone will create a demo-zone in various cities on their existing Experience centres for getting a demo before purchasing it via Flipkart.
Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India said:

"While online-only is a great strategy to test waters in a new market with a new model, this partnership will allow Xolo to tap into Vodafone’s brick-and-mortar retail presence. Exclusive demos and in-store experience coupled with additional Data offers will empower our customers with a great value proposition and help them remain connected always."

Xolo’s Business Head, Sunil Raina, said:

"At Xolo, we believe in building great smartphone experience that goes beyond just the specs. Typically, for ‘online-only’ products, customers miss out on the opportunity to touch and try the product before the purchase. They have to just depend on the information available online and take a purchase decision basis that. It is for the first time that a brand is giving customers the opportunity to see and experience the product and make an informed choice, before making a purchase online."

Xolo releases a teaser about the first phone from Black

If you all remember about the Black firm which is an online only firm which will soon be coming into rolling with a new smartphone, from Xolo. Xolo which itself is a sub-brand of Lava, is seeking for a new brand which will allow them to compete with players like Xiaomi & Lenovo. So it will be interesting to see about the new device which will be coming from Black.

The clip posted by Xolo is a teaser of the upcoming handset, and focuses on the phone being stain and smudge free.

The video showcases top-rear and side part of the handset which shows up that the phone include a dual camera setup with a LED flash at the center of the same, the phone is not bulky and owns a slim profile, and even a glass back. the phone will also own 4G LTE to be future proof & Android 5.1 which is also a latest OS found on mobiles as till now Android M is not rolling out.

First look at the first device from Black.

Xolo recently launched an Online only sub brand in India which they call as "Black". Xolo itself is a sub brand of Lava International, Black will have its first device somewhere in June and will be launched via one of the online retailer.
The phone will be a mid ranged phone, and it will be having a dual back camera which will be first in the price range of under 15,000 INR which is 235$ in Indian pricing. The phone will have LTE on board, and even Android 5.0 Lollipop will be their with Hive 1.5 interface on top of it. We will soon inform you about the latest as they are available.

Xolo launches "Black" a new 'Online-only' brand.

Xolo announced a 'online-only' sub brand which they are calling as Black, they haven't stated for the e-commerce partner yet, but they said that the new handset will be launched next month. XOLO is a sub brand of Lava International and now, they are launching the Black, which will be a online only company.

The phones from Black will be future ready and will provide us the best hardware for the pricing they will be offered for.

The company says,

Sporting a dual rear camera, the first Black device will bring the best of imaging experience under 15K to cater to the growing trend of smartphone photography. A smartphone camera is primarily used for all kinds of impulse photography in all lighting conditions and the first Black device will redefine this experience completely. It will also offer deep and highly customizable user experience with HIVE 1.5, new version of Xolo’s proprietary user interface platform, giving an edge over other players.
