Redmi 2 Launched at an Attractive pricing of INR 6,999




As it was said Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2 today in India at an Event in Delhi. The Redmi 2 is the successor to their longest selling phone in India the Redmi 1S. Redmi 1S was well received by the Indians and had a gr8 record in terms of flash sales. Redmi 2 is a real successor to the Redmi 1S. The Redmi 2 is much sleeker and posses a much better design that its Predecessor. The Redmi 2 is powered by a 64 Bit Quad core processor from Qualcomm the Snapdragon 410. The phone is priced at 6,999 INR and the registrations to the Flash Sale will be starting later today.
The Redmi 2 is a better device overall in the performance and even in the design part, the back cover of the Redmi 1S was a glossy one which was a Fingerprint magnet but the new phone has a Fingerprint resistant back cover, as this time its not the same glossy finish indeed its a Matt finished back covering.



Redmi 2 have a nice specs sheet which includes the following

  • 4G support at both the Slots
The phone is a must buy phone and when priced at an price of 6999 INR which is a really nice price tag for the Phone !!

The first sale of the phone will be conducted on 24th March and the registrations of the sale begin later today from 6PM. Xiaomi will also debut the 2GB RAM and 16 GB variant of Redmi 2 which will be as a Limited Edition cell of the same, we will get to know about it later.
