Since the OnePlus debuted in Mobile market with the One, they didn't got the price down, till now, but yesterday they put down the price for the 16 GB model in China which slashed to 1499 Yuan which is 242$ aprox. or 15,500 INR in Indian pricing scheme. The phone was launched at 1999 Yuan in China and this is a drop of 500 Yuan which may indicate a new handset coming.
The OnePlus featured some great specs for the price it was offered at the time of its launch that is early 2014. But these days the specs of the OnePlus has gone old, and their is much to compete with and hence OnePlus decided to move down the price of the One.
Their are rumors that the next smartphone from OnePlus is on the tow and it may come by 28th of May, the same date as the Hydrogen OS will in China, so it may be a drop to let out the last batches of OnePlus. Till now the price cut is only in China, but soon we may see the price cut for international variant too and may be in India also.
