OnePlus teases June 1 as the launch date for OnePlus Two


There were reports earlier that pointed to a May 28 launch of the next OnePlus device, presumably the OnePlus Two. But today OnePlus, through its official Twitter account teased the above picture with the caption "Time to change." The image clearly hints at a new smartphone, and seems like OnePlus is here to shake up the tech industry yet again with its new flagship, the OnePlus Two. The device launch is to be held on June 1st as per the tweet.

OnePlus has gradually become a household name for tech enthusiasts all over the world. Rumors about the Chinese manufacturer's next flagship have been around since quite some time, and even the company had confirmed its plans of a new device this year.

Expected specs sheet of the OnePlus Two:

  • 5.5" Full HD display
  • Snapdragon 810 SoC
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32/64 GB internal storage
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • 13 MP rear camera
  • 5 MP front camera


The price of the device is expected to be under $400.
The OnePlus One was truly a flagship killer for 2014 and has earned the company a good name in all the markets it has ventured. We have already seen the liked of Samsung, LG and Sony come up with their flagships for this year and it would be interesting to see what tricks OnePlus has in store for us with its new device.
