Motorola seems to be following a One Year round for all its handsets, Like for the Moto X, Moto G and even Moto E. Now it's time to debut a new mobile for Motorola a flagship handset as it feels that Moto X is really going to be a old handset as its running on Snapdragon 801 and we are talking about devices having Snapdragon 815 & 820 soon. Motorola is developing the new model as we got the a very bad screen shot of the specs of the Moto X 3rd Gen, some time ago.
Rick Osterloh, Motorola's President, today confirmed that the company's trying "to stay on a roughly annual cycle for all of our products, including Moto X." Since the previous Moto X models were introduced in August and September, respectively, So we expect to see the 3rd gen around that period only.
Last month, Motorola and Qualcomm confirmed that a new Moto flagship smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor would be introduced this year. As Motorola is saying that Moto X will be "smarter than any other smartphone." The next iteration of the Moto X will be having latest Android at the launch, a near stock version and some more customizability options available this time round maybe something like Moto E, ie you can customize your phone at the home. Let's see what Motorola have in store for us.
