Samsung Launches NX500 a Premium Mirrorless Camera


Samsung Today unveiled a new Smart Camera for the Korean Market. The NX500 is a premium mirrorless camera. The new Smart Cam is a successor to last year’s NX300. The Camera have a 28-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with BSI (Backside illumination) sensor. BackSide illumination and the CMOS sensor both allows the user to capture clearer images even in low-light or dark conditions.

Samsung has used home-brewed DRIMe V image processor in the NX500, which is claimed to be much faster than the one found in its predecessor, offers better image quality, faster image processing, as well as 4K UHD video recording. The camera can record the following type of videos:
  • fast-motion
  • slow-motion
  • time-lapse
The Hybrid AF system facilitates capturing images at 9FPS, while the Samsung Auto Shot (SAS) uses motion detection to predict when to capture a shot in difficult scenarios.

The device sports a 3-inch FVGA AMOLED touchscreen display can be tilted and even can be fliped to facilitate users in capturing selfie shot with the phone. Its wireless connectivity suite includes 

  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 
  • NFC. 
The device sports a battery of 1,130 mAh battery and even a SD card slot. The NX500 will be offered in three colors which are:
  • Black
  • White
  • Brown
The NX500 is already available globally at the store near your house at a price of Around 50,000 INR.
