As it was rumored about the London event of Huawei where they will be introducing the new flagship the Huawei P8. Now, the company has started sending out invitations to the event, which will kick off at 3pm local time. That equates to 11am EDT in the U.S. On the invites, Huawei exhorts recipients to "Save the Date," which you might want to do if this particular handset is of interest to you.
The manufacturer has decided to drop the "Ascend" branding from the name of its handsets, which is why the model expected to be unveiled on April 15th is simply called the Huawei P8. The phone features a
- 5.2-inch screen
- 1080 x 1920
- 424ppi
- 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 CPU
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB native storage
- fingerprint scanner
- 13MP rear camera
- OIS
- 2600mAh battery

The Huawei P8 will supposedly be priced at the equivalent of $480 in China, although we should have fresher information directly from Huawei following the April 15th event. At the same time, we expect Huawei to enlighten us on when the handset will actually be released.
