| Oppo R7 Plus and R7 |
Leaking images and putting up teasers ahead of device launch seems to be the norm nowadays. LG did it with the G4, and now Oppo is playing the same game with its R7 and R7 Plus. The 2015 flagships of the company, the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus have surfaced in official renders, and as expected are sleek as ever. The official launch is slated for May 20, but Oppo decided to give us full views of the devices in advance through advertisements airing in China.
Specifications for the two devices haven't been revealed yet. The Oppo R7 is expected to sport the following specs:
- 5-inch Full HD display
- Octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor (4x1.7GHz + 4x1GHz)
- 3 GB RAM
- 20.7 MP rear camera
- 16 GB built-in storage
- 2320 mAh battery with VOOC Quick Charging
The other device, the Oppo R7 Plus is expected to pack in:
- 5.9-inch Full HD display
- Octa-core Mediatek MT6795
- 3 GB RAM
- 8 MP rear camera
- 32 GB internal storage
- Fingerprint sensor
Both the devices come in metallic unibody design with 2.5D glass on the front. The Oppo R7 Plus features on-screen navigation buttons while the R7 has physical capacitive buttons. The R7 Plus packs a fingerprint sensor at the back. The R7 is expected to be priced around 2,999 Yuan, i.e. USD 480.
