Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, codenamed Xiaomi H3Y seems to be launching soon

Redmi series from Xiaomi has been making a good sales record in India, and even other countries where they are being sold, and a large number of sales of Xiaomi comes for Redmi series itself. As of now we are having only

• Redmi 2 
• Redmi Note

in the series which is being sold but it looks like Xiaomi is going to soon launch a new successor to the Redmi Note which will be the Redmi Note 2. A device codenamed Xiaomi H3Y has surfaced, and it looks like the phone will be taking use of MediaTek chipset.

The new MT69XX series for Mediatek seems to be performing well, and hence the Redmi Note 2 will be a performance beast as it seems that MT6975, which is of the same series is going to be used in the Xiaomi's next handset.

The Redmi Note 2 seems to be having the following specs:

• MT6975 SoC
• 13 MP rear camera 
• 8/5 MP front camera 
• USB Type-C connector
