Nexus 4 getting the Android 5.1 OTA Update

The Nexus 4 from Google which was made by LG and was released in 2012-end in November has now been getting the Android 5.1 Lollipop OTA update which is quite nice as a 3 year old device is getting the latest build. The new Lollipop update brings some key improvements like the new quick-settings menu and tweaks to the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. You can manage the notifications from system apps and others through the Interruptions option in the Priority profile settings.

The major security update that the phone is having now is that if you loose the phone and if anyone factory reset the same then too you will need the user's login to log into the phone which is a nice feature recruited by Google. Voice calls get clearer with the HD Voice feature . The update measures 174.5MB, the Android 5.1 OTA update is being rolled out to the Nexus 4 devices in phases and hence you need not to worry if your Nexus is not having the OTA notification it will reach you in a day or two.
