HTC Updates Desire EYE, One E8 & Butterfly S to Android Lollipop

Lollipop update has been seeding to more and more devices, HTC today has started updating its non flagship devices to the rich taste of Lollipop. The three devices that has started getting the lollipop update are as follows:

• HTC Desire EYE
• HTC One E8
• Butterfly S

Butterfly S is pretty much old device which was launched about 2 years ago in 2013, and hence it is quite good that HTC is not forgetting its old devices, that once were much popular.

According to HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR, HTC has been updating the Desire EYE and Butterfly S to Lollipop in Taiwan region, while the One E8 is getting the test of update in Hong Kong. Users in other regions will likely receive the update pretty soon, too, though for now we can't say exactly when it's going to happen. The phones are going to be updated to Android 5.0.2 not the older Android 5.0, but till now we will not be getting the Sense 7. In the US, the One E8 is available via Sprint, while the Desire EYE is sold by AT&T, so the timing of the updates may vary.
