Helio X20 a 10-Core Processor from Mediatek !! Coming Soon

Mediatek recently introduced two new chipsets the Helio X and Helio P which will be competing against the Qualcomm and Exynos chips. At the time of introducing the two new families of chipsets they gave us introduction to the Helio X10 which is a normal Octa Core chipset. Now Helio X20 which will be Mediatek's take on Snapdragon 800 series as we think, is going to bear not a single less then 10 cores, Mediatek was the first to introduce a 8 core chipset which later Qualcomm started to make.

As we know Octa Core processors can be found in a entry level phones, so in order to make the flagship devices stand forward Mediatek will be getting 10-cores implemented in its upcoming Helio X20. Details are unknown but we can safely say that the processor will be a 64bit chip aiming to tackle the Snapdragon 810 and its successor Snapdragon 815 & Snapdragon 820. Mediatek also says that Helio X20 can top 70,000 points on Antutu which is a high score for the devices.

But as we know Helio X & Helio P series are aimed for the high-end devices, and will compete against Qualcomm and Exynos hence it looks like that the phone bearing the Helio X20 will not be pocket friendly, instead will have a higher price tag, So lets look forward towards 2016, to get the first device bearing a Helio X20.
